A woman has revealed the creepy text message a stranger sent her after taking his cell phone number from her luggage tag.
The traveler named Kirsten posted on TikTok her experience while waiting at the airport during a layover.
“I’m at the airport and the creepiest thing just happened to me. I’m sitting on my ladder and I get this text,” Kirsten said.
He put the message on the screen and read it to his viewers, criticizing the stranger’s disturbing message.
“Hi Kristen, that’s not even my name,” he said. ‘My name is Nate. I saw you and thought you were so beautiful that I had to find a way to talk to you.
A traveler named Kirsten (pictured) posted about her experience while waiting at the airport during a layover.
Kirsten said she received “the creepiest text message” from a stranger who got her number from her luggage tag.
‘I saw your number on your luggage tag and decided to text you. I promise you this is not as strange as it seems! Give a guy a chance?
Kirsten continued to criticize the man for not having the courtesy to approach her first, but instead sent her a creepy message that left her fearing for her safety.
‘Give a boy a chance? First of all, he misspelled my name. Secondly, if he wanted to talk to me so badly, why didn’t he come up and talk to me like a normal human being? she said.
“This seems like an invasion of privacy. I have no idea who this guy is. I didn’t notice a guy looking at me or anything.
“I’m very strange because I have my address on my luggage tag so he can know where I live now.”
He ended the video by warning others to be careful with the information they put on luggage tags.
‘PSA to everyone: Turn your luggage tag around so your personal information is not visible. And a public service announcement to all the creepers: do better,” Kirsten said.
Commenters agreed that the message was strange and said Kirsten was justified in being scared.
‘This is something that would never cross my mind!!! “That’s really scary,” one person said.
“I was literally speechless. “I’m horrified,” said another. “I’m so sorry, this is very violating,” said a third person.
‘Ladies, these men are desperate. Be careful,” a fourth person said.
Others criticized the man for getting close enough to take her cell phone but not simply introducing himself.
‘If he’s close enough to see the tag, say hello! Damn,” one person said.
‘Yes, totally creepy. “I could have shot at that moment and been rejected at the time, but I wanted to be a creeper,” said another.
