Woman found dead and man arrested at a house in Bedford, Perth
A woman has been found dead in a house in Perth, with a man arrested.
Emergency services were called to a property on Birkett St in the Bedford suburb at around 5pm Monday.
The body of a woman was found in the house and a man was arrested.

A WA Police spokesman said the man is assisting with police investigations.
“There is no continuing risk to the wider community and the investigation into the woman’s death is now ongoing,” a WA Police statement said.
The street, around 6km north-east of Perth’s CBD, has been closed by officers while forensic units investigate.
The ABC reported that members of the woman’s family had been on the scene since Monday night, visibly distraught.
