A woman billed as ‘TikTok’s biggest catfish’ has shared shocking photos of herself before and after applying makeup — and the internet can’t believe her transformation.
Jessy Volk, from Saskatchewan, Canada, who has amassed more than 966,000 followers on TikTokoften shares “get ready with me”-esque videos of her doing her hair and makeup — and she’s baffled social media users at how different she looks with and without the glam.
The influencer first went viral last year after showing off her epic makeup skills, and since then she has racked up over 23 million likes for her videos.

One TikTok — which has been viewed more than three million times — started syncing her lip to Mura Masa’s song Love$ick without makeup on.
Pimples could be seen scattered all over her all-natural face, before transitioning into another clip of her with a totally glamorous face – with her acne completely hidden by the makeup.
Another viral video, which has been viewed a million times, featured Jessy singing and dancing to Aladdin’s Prince Ali, as clips of her before and after applying her makeup flashed across the screen.
Many of Jessy’s viewers are amazed at her ability to transform herself, and they often flood the comment section of her videos with their reaction.
“You’re such an insanely talented bestie,” one person wrote, while another added, “I wish I could do my makeup like this.”

However, others have called her “catfish” and called her ability to change her appearance “so scary.”




Despite the sometimes negative reaction, Jessy doesn’t seem to mind the haters and continues to proudly show off her ability to transform herself with makeup


Jessy said she takes pride in “normalizing” real skin and showing off her flaws, and often gets comments from people saying she made them feel more confident




Someone commented on one of her videos, “The way you normalize real skin…I’ll show it to my daughters,” to which Jessy replied, “This made my heart so full and that’s exactly why I do what I do”
“I live for you before and after, you have serious skill,” said someone else.
A fourth comment read, “The power of makeup is so cool.”


Some of the products that Jessy likes to use are ELF’s Brow Lift and Power Grip Primer and Dragon Beauty’s Dragunfire Color Corrector.
However, others accused her of “catfishing” and called her ability to change her appearance “so scary.”
“Why are you catfishing?” one person asked, while another user wrote, “That’s why I have trust issues.”

“I would need a full refund tomorrow morning,” another comment read, while another viewer commented, “So scary how this could happen.”
“That’s like slapping a Ferrari sticker on a Honda,” wrote another.
