A heated controversy after the woman’s husband lost her to her because he checked his pockets before washing the clothes: “Do not respect my privacy.”
- A man yelled at his wife for searching his pockets
- He claimed she “invaded his privacy” and purchased a locked safe
A woman has been criticized for violating her husband’s privacy by checking his pockets before putting his clothes in the sink.
The 33-year-old wife was doing her laundry when her husband started yelling at her.
She was caught “in the act” with her hands in his pockets while making sure he left nothing important inside her.
The husband was infuriated by his wife’s actions and bought himself a separate locker with a lock and key to keep her away from his clothes.

“I grabbed[my husband’s]work pants and dug my hands into their pockets to empty them out before putting them in the washing machine like I always do,” the woman wrote in a Reddit post.
She revealed, “My husband just walked by and lunged at me to get his pants down.”
I found a folded paper but he grabbed it and then started yelling at me about not respecting his privacy and that I shouldn’t put my hands on his things.
The woman admitted she was “really stunned” and revealed that she always checked clothes before putting them in the washing machine.
Her husband then “criticized” her and claimed she should have asked permission before going through his clothes in case she had spoiled an “important document” such as the piece of paper she pulled from his pants.
She said, “I said the important documents should not be in his pockets and I asked to see the paper but he said he wouldn’t show me.”
The wife added: ‘He said I couldn’t ask him Jack after I didn’t respect his privacy. I almost laughed because what privacy does he have in his pockets? It wasn’t like a stranger was digging into them.
From then on, the husband refused to speak to his wife and bought a new safe with a lock in order to “teach her a lesson” about “privacy” and “snooping”.

Many sided with the wife and claimed that her husband was behaving insanely.
One woman said: H is clearly hiding something. “There is no sane person who has nothing to hide locking up his clothes.”
“It is completely normal to go through the pockets when doing the laundry, either to get cash out or forgotten receipts.”
I bet he’d yell at her for not looking in pockets if a watch, a pair of headphones, or a pen were completely inundated.
“He is 100% cheating on you.”
But others questioned the woman’s behavior.
“You’re not telling us the whole story here,” a man wrote. He won’t react like that just because you were doing the laundry.
‘Why were you looking in his pockets?’ This is very shady.
