Australia’s nicest thief? The kind act of the package thief is captured on camera moments after she stole a meal kit from the hallway of an apartment.

A package thief arrested stealing a food delivery kit has been seen opening the door for a woman to push a man in a wheelchair during his escape.
The thief was caught on CCTV taking the Marley Spoon meal kit from the lobby of an Adelaide apartment on Sunday.
The footage shows the woman taking the box before leaving the apartment building.
He glanced briefly up and back down the hall before seeing a woman pushing a man in a wheelchair and decided to hold the door open for them.

Once the couple is inside, the woman escaped through the parking lot door.
The owner of the package shared the CCTV footage along with several still images in the hope that someone could identify the woman.
However, many Australians were far more interested in the thief’s ironically kind act.
Even the plot owner joined in on the fun, joking that the woman was a ‘good Samaritan’.
“Hey, at least she kept the door open, that was her good deed,” said one.
“He earned it, he did one good deed for the day,” another quipped.
Other viewers were less impressed by the robbery and gave the victim advice on how to find it.

The woman was later seen holding the door open for a woman to push a man in a wheelchair (above) before exiting through the complex’s parking lot.
“I hope your dinner was horrible,” one person commented.
“Post to a local Facebook page and even talk to the police, someone will know her,” said another.
“Pathetic that Marley Spoon is stealing, how do people forget there are cameras around?” wrote a third person.
“She clearly needed the food more than you,” another commented.
