A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed to death on a quiet suburban street.
Emergency services responded to reports of an incident at a home on Murrabin Avenue in Matraville, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, about 6.15pm on Tuesday.
One man was seriously injured and died at the scene despite the best efforts of paramedics.
Police arrested a nearby woman who was assisting police.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command and homicide squad detectives have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
