She claimed the bridesmaid couldn’t stand not being the center of attention during her younger sister’s wedding and began the speech by saying, ‘We’ve heard enough about my sister for one day, I’m a little sick of him.’
It ended with a bombshell when he revealed the bride’s secret pregnancy, which he hadn’t even told his parents about yet, saying, “I can’t wait to meet the little one.”
Commenters were appalled by the woman’s selfish behavior, though many questioned why the girlfriend confided in her in the first place if she knows what she’s like.

‘This wedding happened in June, but I had to wait to post so as not to fool myself. I recently attended a wedding with my boyfriend. It was her male cousin who was getting married.
‘The wedding itself started well. We had heard rumors that there was some drama among the bride’s party, particularly with the bridesmaid, who was the older sister of the bride.

‘Anyway, they have a nice ceremony, a nice cocktail hour and we all sit down to eat. This is where it gets good.
She continued: ‘The first two speeches from the best man and father of the bride are fine.
‘Nothing crazy, just your standard wedding speech. Then comes the maid of honor.
‘She walks to the front and grabs the microphone. The first thing he says is, “I didn’t write anything, I thought I’d just throw it together,” which at first I thought, “Okay, whatever works for you,” but my boyfriend felt like it showed he didn’t care enough to put the effort in.
“Anyway, she says, ‘Honestly, we’ve heard enough about my sister for one day. I’m a little sick of it.” She then proceeds to leave thanking both parties and a few others.
‘He doesn’t say a word about his sister (the bride) or the groom. He then ends the speech by saying, “I can’t wait to meet the little guy.”
Some people seemed to blame the mishap on the bride, saying she should have known what to expect from her sister.
