In the parking lot of a busy Seattle beach, during the Memorial Day celebration on Monday, a firefight broke out between two groups, sending a woman and three children, including a baby, to the hospital.
Seattle police department officers responded to Pritchard Beach Park at 7 p.m. after receiving 911 calls to report fired shots and multiple casualties.
According to police, a 27-year-old woman who had been sitting in the back seat of a parked car with her ten-month-old son in her arms was hit by gunshots, just like her baby.

Both were taken to the Harborview medical center to be treated for critical injuries, but the boy's condition was later upgraded to serious. The mother remained critical from Monday evening.
A third victim, a boy of eight, was brought to the same hospital in critical condition as a result of a bullet wound. His condition has since been upgraded to serious.
A fourth victim, a 10-year-old girl, was also shot on the beach and hospitalized in good condition, reported KOMO News.
According to a police press release, detectives have found that two groups of people have opened fire on each other in the parking lot of the park. No design has been released.
