A woman suffered life-threatening burns after she was set on fire in an alleged domestic violence incident.

Emergency services were called to an address near Jacaranda Avenue in Kingston, a Greater Brisbane suburb of Logan, shortly before 8am on Saturday.

The woman was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia she was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Officers were seen taking photographs during a search of the Kingston property with several police cars parked outside.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman told the Daily Mail the incident is being treated as domestic violence-related.

The house has been cordoned off with police tape while an investigation is underway.

Several police cars were also parked in front of the house.
