A 63-year-old woman was arrested for the murder of her husband after confessing to her adult son that she had hit him on the head with a baseball bat.

Deborah Stephens was at home with her husband James, 65, in York Springs, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday when she attacked him at 6 pm.

The next day, her 42-year-old son, also named James, went home after worrying when Deborah did not show up at the office they share at the Yazoo Mills paper factory.

When it arrived, she & # 39; took a look & # 39; from behind the door and said: "I hit your father with a baseball bat and he's dead." The son called the police immediately.

The officer took Deborah to the hospital and then arrested her.

She has not yet offered a motive for the murder.

Police visited the couple's home on August 21 on domestic violence charges when she allegedly hit her husband with the TV remote control.
