Police have arrested a 52-year-old woman who they say stabbed her 68-year-old ex-husband during a bloody confrontation Saturday morning in Midtown, police said.
The two were arguing at the corner of 31st St. and Sixth Ave. around 12:10 a.m. when the woman, who was wearing camouflage clothing, pulled out a knife and attacked, police said.
She stabbed her ex-husband in the torso and ran off, only to be caught by responding officers a short time later.
EMS rushed his victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he is expected to survive.
Charges against the woman were pending on Saturday, police said.
The two were separated and no longer lived together, a police source with knowledge of the case said.
It was not immediately revealed what the two were arguing about when the knife came out.
