A Michigan woman has been arrested accused of hiring someone to kill her ex-husband after completing a consultation form on the fake website rentahitman.com.

51-year-old Wendy Wein is said to have met an undercover state operator and offered him $ 5,000 to wear the hit after the website owner tipped police.

Wein, of South Rockwood, has been charged with a request for murder and the use of a computer to commit a crime. She was arrested on Friday.

Police say she made an advance payment to the undercover agent to cover the travel costs of murdering her ex, who has not been named but lives in a different state.
