A 36-year-old woman from Ohio is facing a fourth-degree crime after repeatedly calling 911 to report that her parents had closed her cell phone plan.
Seloni Khetarpal, from Canton, was arrested on Thursday by the Massillon police after making several calls to the Regional Emergency Dispatch Center and being told to call only for legitimate reasons.
Khetarpal continued to make emergency calls in the belief that her parents stopped their payments on her cell as a 911 issue.

The calls started on Thursday, February 13 and Khetarpal demanded a response from the police. When she was told not to use 911 for the complaint, she called again a few hours later.
According to court documents, Khetarpal was “belligerent” and insisted that it was a legitimate reason to call 911.
She was arrested around 8.40 p.m. and charged with disrupting public services.

Khetarpal appeared in court on Friday and her bond was set at $ 2500.
She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 27.
According to her website, Khetarpal is originally from the UK, but now lives in Canton, Ohio. Her biography states that she was a model for companies such as Abercrombie and Fitch and Miller Lite before she came to be a makeup artist and broker.
It is not known why her parents decided to stop paying for her telephone subscription.
