Wolves winger Pedro Neto could miss the rest of the season after suffering a second hamstring injury.

The Portugal international missed eight weeks earlier in the season with a hamstring injury.

Neto was substituted at half-time against Newcastle after suffering a hamstring injury in the opposite leg of his first injury.

He started the match against Fulham a week later but was forced off just before half-time due to injury.

Following Saturday’s 3-2 FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Coventry, Wolves manager Gary O’Neil told expressandstar.com: “Pedro, potentially, is the end of the season for he”.

‘It’s very similar to the injury he suffered on the other side.

“There’s a chance he’ll come back for the last two (games), maybe, if everything goes really well.”

When asked further about Neto’s injury, O’Neil said: “It’s similar to the last injury, which was around nine weeks, so potentially around that time period.”

‘Rehabilitation may be different, so it could be quicker or a little longer. We’ll see how it goes.’

The Wolves are also without Matheus Cunha, Hwang Hee-chan, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Craig Dawson.
