Angel Reese has divided fans after arriving at Crypto.com Arena in a somewhat risqué outfit on Saturday.
Reese’s Chicago Sky will take on the LA Sparks, two days after the WNBA returned to action following a month-long hiatus for the Olympics.
And Reese’s pregame attire sparked a polarizing response online when the rookie exposed her midriff in a black crop top and wore a matching short skirt.
Some fans did not agree with the outfit, one of them… writing A Yahoo! Sports post read: “Who told him it was a good idea?”
Another suggested she was a hypocrite, saying: “I don’t want to be sexualised, but let me walk around like a slut in a skimpy outfit.”

Reese had previously accused people of sexualizing her in college when she spoke out after LSU’s loss to Iowa in this year’s NCAA Tournament.
“I’ve been through a lot,” she told reporters. “I’ve seen a lot. I’ve been attacked many times, I’ve been threatened with death, I’ve been sexualized, I’ve been threatened, I’ve had a lot of things done to me, and I’ve stood my ground every time.”
Others were much more supportive of Reese’s clothing choice on Saturday.
One said: “SHE’S A HER! WOW!”
Another defended her from the nasty comments, writing: “I’m convinced that many of you hate women.”
The divisive Reese has been a major draw for the WNBA in her rookie season alongside Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Reese has had a solid rookie season for the Sky and was named to the WNBA All-Star team.
Fanatics, the official retailer of W, previously reported a 1,000% increase in sales of player-specific merchandise, with Clark and Reese leading the pack at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively, a spokesperson said. told TMZ in July.
