The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine came to Kherson to provide assistance to those affected by the Kakhovka Dam bombing
Ukraine’s chief rabbi, Moshe Reuven Azman, took refuge from shrapnel from what he believed to be Russian shelling near the area he was visiting in Kherson.
The bombing took place while Azman was filming a video in which the sound of the bombing could be heard, which forced the rabbi to stop recording and fall to the ground in an attempt to protect himself.
The Russian administration said on Thursday that nearly 2,200 people had been evacuated from flooded areas in the Russian-controlled parts of Kherson.
