A man armed with a knife attacked a group of kindergarten children who were playing near a lake in Annecy, in the French Alps.
Panic prevailed in the French city of Annecy, this morning, Thursday, after a man armed with a knife attacked several people, including four children, who were taken to hospital in critical condition.
The attacker, who was carrying a cross when he was arrested, in his early thirties, identified himself as a Christian from Syria, and has been granted asylum in Sweden since April.
