The personal trainer became the fourth star to be kicked out of the jungle over the weekend and admitted she was disappointed to have missed the final.

‘I won’t lie, I’m disappointed. I really would have liked to stay a little longer,’ he confessed in his exit interview.

“I was really picking up the pace there and I loved the experience; it’s been great.”

She continued: ‘I came in for a lot of different reasons. One of them was just because who gets the chance to come to the African jungle and, you know, act like a complete idiot for a couple of weeks, have fun and meet new people?

‘I’ve loved meeting new people and made good friends there, I won’t lie. There are some really great people that I’ve connected with and I know I’ll have that connection out there.”

So far, seven celebrities have been eliminated from the jungle as the race to become the 2024 champion continues ahead of Sunday’s final.

Stephen K Amos was the seventh campmate to be eliminated on Tuesday, leaving only Skye Wheatley, Tristan MacManus, Callum Hole, Ellie Cole and Brittany Hockley in the jungle.

Wednesday’s vote broke I’m A Celebrity Australia records as the stars collectively received the most votes in a 24-hour period as they won over viewers.

In his exit interview, Stephen broke down in tears watching his highlights on the Channel 10 show, which included how he overcame his fear of swimming.

Speaking to hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin, Stephen excitedly said he appreciated being able to be “vulnerable” with his campmates on the show.

Through tears, she said, “Just being able to be vulnerable in front of other people and be honest, being able to speak your truth, which is something you rarely get to do.” In my job, you make people laugh all the time.

“It was really nice to sit with a group of people, there’s mutual respect, they’re attentive and you can talk without judgement.”

After Stephen’s exit, host Robert confirmed that his will be the final single elimination, as there will be the first double vote in the camp on Thursday night.
