With Snapchat you can now view 3D Paint faces and almost everything else

Today Snapchat is introducing a new 3D Paint feature that lets you draw in augmented reality. You can use it to draw on your own face using the camera on the front of your phone, and it also works with your camera on the back so that you can draw on objects in the area. A video produced by Snap shows the function used to draw a pair of eyes and a mustache on the front of a van.

The functionality is similar to the "AR Doodle" feature from Samsung that he introduced with the Galaxy Note 10. However, the feature of Samsung has the added advantage of using the phone's S Pen stylus, which should be more precise than draw on the screen with your finger.

If you want to try the function yourself, Snapchat & # 39; s 3D Paint will be rolled out starting today. You can find the function in the Create section of the AR bar of the iOS app. Unfortunately, the launch feature is not available on Android, but Snapchat says it will be on the platform in the coming months.
