Ngannou shared a video of himself punching the machine holding him still before pulling his arm back a short distance in preparation to deliver the big blow.

The 37-year-old then connects with the punchball and vibrates the machine with the power of his forehand.

The digits on the scoreboard immediately began to skyrocket and quickly reached a high of 999 in recognition of Ngannou’s effort.

Joshua will have to be careful not to get hit by Ngannou’s dominant hand, fearing that the Cameroonian could knock out his English opponent.

Joshua’s chin strength has been tested in previous clashes and he faltered against the lighter-built Usyk in both of his title fights against the Ukrainian.

The former heavyweight holder previously praised Ngannou’s power, but admitted his confidence in knocking out the former UFC star.

‘We knew Francis had a reputation for being the biggest puncher in the world, but the surprise was how well he boxed.

These are notes I’ve already taken on him. His style, where he is dangerous, where he could get trapped. On fight night I will go into the ring knowing everything about him.

“Everything I need to know to get another damn knockout,” he added.
