Denise Nickerson, who played Violet Beauregard in Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory from 1971, died at the age of 62.
Nickerson died Wednesday morning at about 10:30 AM in Colorado, her family told me TMZ.
The actress was visited that same day in her hospital room by various lovers, who said their last goodbyes and shared memories.

Nickerson was rushed to the hospital earlier this week, diagnosed with pneumonia, and then had an attack, TMZ reports.
She was placed on life support, but on Wednesday her family told TMZ that she had removed Nickerson from her ventilator.
The site spoke directly with the Denise family. She has a son who took care of her together with his wife.
Nickerson had stayed at home where she was taking her medication and taking care of it.
