For the Miami premiere, the couple appeared to color coordinate their outfits, both sporting summery neutral tones.

Will looked dapper in a pair of light gray linen wide leg pants, which he paired with a white ribbed vest and a cream leather Cuban shirt and matching loafers.

Meanwhile, Martin looked dapper in a textured tan jacket with a T-shirt, white suit pants and sneakers.

Will and Martin made their respective debuts as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in the first Bad Boys film, which was released in 1995.

The pair reprized their roles in Bad Boys II and Bad Boys For Life, which were released in 2003 and 2020, respectively.

Development on the fourth film in the action comedy franchise was announced to be underway right after the release of the third film.

The film follows the story of two police officers who rebel to defend the city of Miami.

Martin praised Will while promoting the film on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.

Will and Martin revealed that their roles in the Bad Boys franchise were originally supposed to go to very different comedians.

“Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz were the original Bad Boys,” Will said. “That would have been a very different movie.”

“But it would have been fun,” Martin said.

Martin shared that it was actually his sister who suggested he do the movies with Will.

“I wanted to do it with Eddie Murphy and you know that’s my man,” Martin said, to which Will joked, “I’m sitting here.”

“At the time I wanted Eddie for the movie, but I couldn’t afford him,” Martin said.

Martin said his sister suggested Will, so he called him and asked him to come to his house for dinner to talk about the movie.
