Will Smith was among the celebrity guests who watched Lionel Messi and Inter Miami open the new MLS season on Wednesday night.

The Oscar-winning actor, 55, was pictured chatting with Miami co-owner David Beckham before kick-off in Florida.

Smith, who has endured a quiet two-year period in his acting career after controversially slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, hugged the football icon for a photo.
