The Duke of York is bracing to involve his ex-wife and daughter Princess Beatrice in his lawsuit.
He expects to find out soon which family members want to interview lawyers of sex accuser Virginia Roberts under oath.
The next stage of the sexual assault case brought by Miss Roberts is for both sides to formally interview witnesses, outside a courtroom, but with a court reporter.

During the hearings, known as statements, lawyers can ask any question, no matter how personal.
David Boies, Mrs. Roberts’ attorney who has been nicknamed the “great inquisitor” for his skill at taking witnesses under oath, has already suggested he could question Sarah Ferguson and their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Andrew gave Beatrice his alibi – he said they were at Pizza Express in Woking – for the date in 2001 when he allegedly forced Miss Roberts into sex.
Each side in the case is expected to name a dozen witnesses this weekend to interview. Both lists may include current or former royal staff, footmen, and secretaries, if the attorneys believe they can have testimony useful to their client.

The case is moving forward this week after Andrew’s crushing defeat when he tried to drop Miss Roberts’ claims against him. She vowed to prove “that the rich and powerful are not above the law.”
Outside the United States, US courts have no jurisdiction. However, there is a legal mechanism to compel UK witnesses to testify through a High Court order known as a ‘letter of request’.
Andrew denies the allegations.
