Radio stars Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw have confirmed that one of them will star in the upcoming season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia.

The pair were interviewing Julia Morris and Dr. Chris Brown when they confirmed that one of the KIIS FM hosts would be appearing on the show.

“You know we’re never allowed to talk about who’s going in,” Julia said.

Chris added: ‘We can do better than tell them who’s going to the jungle. For the first time, we will be bringing the celebrity into the studio and revealing here and now who is heading into the jungle.”

“The celebrity who goes into the jungle is about to enter the studio and we can officially reveal that the celebrity who goes into the jungle, the radio host is one of you two!”

‘It’s not me, I’m not going!’ Will said before Chris continued, “We can officially reveal that either Will or Woody is going to the African jungle on April 2.”

‘Who’s going to be able to hold down the radio while you’re in the jungle?’ Julia said.

Will added: ‘I have a family. We both have babies.

‘There are great conversations to be had on the home front. We have to decide? Woody joked.

A recent trailer for the Channel 10 show has confirmed that a footballer, comedian, boxer and chef have signed up, and now an inside source has weighed in on the potential selections.

‘Rugby league star Sam Burgess would have to be the favourite. And the comedian is either Tommy Little or Peter Helliar,” a source told New Idea.

They added that celebrity chef Shannon Bennett and champion lightweight boxer Lauryn Eagle were also possible candidates.

“Tommy is one of the last comedians on Ten’s books and they may need to tie up some loose ends with Pete’s contract after he left The Project,” the spy said.

“And after a few run-ins with the law, Lauryn seems well suited for some redemption semblance,” they added.

The next season of I’m a Celebrity has been filmed in South Africa.

“We can officially reveal that either Will or Woody will be going to the African jungle on April 2,” Chris said.
