Wildflower iPhone cases are perfect for the clumsy among us

On the front, it does an excellent job of protecting the screen, so much so that I stopped using a screen protector. It wasn’t an easy decision, but I was tired of all the dust that collected along the bezel and how unresponsive the screen was at times. Shortly after receiving the case and removing the screen protector, I dropped the phone on the sidewalk. My boyfriend and I looked at each other in horror when I picked the phone up off the cement. Not only was the screen perfectly intact, but so was the case, not a dent or ding in sight.

I haven’t had this experience with other cases. Whenever I’ve dropped my phone in the past, either the screen protector has completely shattered or the case has taken the brunt of the fall. I know that’s the point, but after enough damage, the case looks so awful that I have no choice but to replace it. I’ve dropped my phone multiple So many things have happened since then with the Wildflower case that you would never be able to tell.

Some small requests

I love Wildflower cases, but as with everything, there’s always room for improvement. For starters, I wish the cases were MagSafe compatible. The charging technology has been available since 2020, and most brands have updated all their cases to include it. So it’s a shame Wildflower doesn’t. The cases are thin enough that you can still fit certain MagSafe accessories into them; I can still stick the charger in. MagSafe Wallet for iPhone to the back of the iPhone 15 Pro securely. But this trick didn’t work with the iPhone 14 Pro Max, particularly when trying to connect it to a Casetify MagSafe Car Mount.

As an alternative solution, Wildflower offers MagSafe Magnetic Rings ($12 for a 3-pack)I bought these for when I was using the larger iPhone. They work well and are just as sturdy as the cases that come with built-in MagSafe support – the ring has strong grips on both the wallet and car mount. I don’t find it to be the most aesthetically pleasing, but I use a lot of MagSafe accessories and it’s much more convenient than having to take the case on and off.

Speaking of aesthetics, my other request is for Wildflower to change the color of the bumpers to match the case design, especially since they’re so prominent. For now, it’s black on all colors, which doesn’t sit well with the fun prints. Bumpers are part of the brand’s signature style, but it would be nice to see the company have a little fun with them.

My final request is for Wildflower to expand its cases into the world of Android phones as well. The company offers cases for Apple’s entire line of products, including iPhones, AirPods, iPads, and Airtags. But it would be nice to see the catalog expand, with more offerings for a bunch of different smartphone brands.

However, I highly recommend these cases for those who own an iPhone and are also incredibly irresponsible when it comes to taking care of their phones. If you (like me) find yourself flying out of your hands onto the floor all too often, then a Wildflower case is definitely your best bet, especially if you want to make fewer trips to the Apple Store.
