A toddler got trapped inside a claw machine over the weekend, but he was happy

A young boy stunned diners after managing to get into a claw machine at a popular pub.

The boy managed to squeeze his way through the prize chute of the machine at The Ranch Hotel in North Ryde, northwest of Sydney.

He looked like he was having the time of his life as he smiled from ear to ear while sitting on top of a pile of Minions and Disney stuffed animals.

Photos of their little adventure were shared on Facebook where social media users were left stunned and impressed.

“But how did the child manage to get through the square opening?” wrote one.

Another replied: “My son did that years ago. They can just crawl into the vent where the bears come out.”

Many joked that there seemed to be a jackpot at stake.

“It’s a pretty expensive prize if you win it,” wrote one.

Many Australians thought the boy should be praised for having a “gift” and being a “starter”.

“I don’t think it’s an appropriate award,” said another.

Another joked: ‘Well, I won’t be playing that machine… knowing my luck, I’ll get the kid.’

Other social media users commented on how talented the little boy seemed to be.

“This child is very enterprising and will go far in this world,” wrote one.

“This child has a gift that should be valued and cared for,” said another.

Another added: “Look how happy he is.”

“I think he was having more fun there,” one wrote.

Others were angry and asked why no one at the scene tried to stop the boy from entering the machine.

Some commented that it seems to be a common occurrence for children to sneak their way into claw machines.

“Is this the new TikTok trend for parents now because it happens all the time?” one wrote.

“Last time we saw this it was at the Lake Haven mall,” another said.

It’s not the first time a child has been tempted by the toys inside a claw machine before entering, only to get stuck.

Three-year-old Ethan became trapped in a Hello Kitty claw machine in Brisbane in January and police had to break the glass to rescue him.

Ethan was pulled out unharmed and his father later said it only took a few seconds for the three-year-old to squeeze inside the glass box.
