Three teenagers have been charged after allegedly carrying out a horrific carjacking in a crime spree in Melbourne’s south-east.
The young trio are believed to have approached an Uber Eats food delivery driver parked outside a house on Romsey Place in Langwarrin at about 1.45pm on Thursday.
As the driver brought the food to the front door, a 17-year-old boy could allegedly be seen jumping out of a passing pickup truck and climbing into the driver’s seat.

The 33-year-old victim allegedly desperately tried to get the teen out of his car before another teen ran from the truck and punched the driver in the head.
As the attacker drove away, the man fell under the vehicle and suffered serious injuries.
Police allege the three teenagers abandoned the car on Paddington Rd in Oakleigh before breaking into the home of an elderly couple on nearby Carlisle Crescent.
The three alleged attackers, all aged 17, were quickly arrested by police, who surrounded the house.

The three boys from Reservoir, Langwarrin and Oakleigh have since been charged with aggravated home invasion and aggravated vehicle theft.
The three teenagers were on bail at the time of the alleged offences and face a total of 39 offences, the Herald Sun reported.
While the Oakleigh boy remains in hospital in police custody, the other two boys were due to appear in a juvenile court on Friday.
They will appear in court again on August 1.
