A Married At First Sight bride managed to shorten her bucket list when she got the chance to swim with a ferocious crocodile.
Ashley Irvin, who appeared on the 2018 season of the Channel Nine dating show, documented her trip on Instagram and shared footage of her coming face to face with a crocodile behind protective glass.
“When in Darwin, swim in Crocs,” she wrote alongside an Instagram snap of her happily posing in a green bikini.
In the footage, Ashley, 35, looked nervous as she prepared to breathe underwater.
Despite the protective layer of glass, the crocodile was an intimidating sight for the former stewardess, who was dwarfed by the enormous reptile.

Ashley previously made headlines when she announced she qualified as a registered nurse after losing her job as a Virgin Australia flight attendant.
the blonde star posted a reel of photos from her big day, and revealed that she had “a graduate position at the Golden Coast Hospital’ lined up.
‘I can’t believe I’m officially a graduated registered nurse! The two hardest years of my life! I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support behind me!’ Ashley wrote.

In the footage, Ashley looked nervous as she prepared to breathe underwater.
But the former flight attendant had nothing to worry about because the glass cage allowed her to get up close and personal with the crocodiles in a safe environment.
‘Honestly, my family and friends have helped me get through some tough times between full-time college and full-time work. I can’t thank you enough!
She revealed her new career path in 2020, when she lost her job as a Virgin Australia flight attendant at the start of the Covid pandemic.
“I’m so excited to start my postgraduate nursing studies next year at QUT,” she announced on Instagram at the time.
‘Covid made me re-evaluate my life and I am very happy that it did. I’m going to try to work as a nurse and flight attendant full time, so wish me luck.’
She rose to fame on Married At First Sight in 2018 alongside her ‘husband’ Troy Delmege.
