Jacinta Russell-Arnot had been driving with another person earlier in the year in Tasmanian bushland on a relatively clear section of land, even though there were trees on either side of the vehicle.

A young woman on a thrilling off-road adventure filmed the moment she narrowly avoided death after a tree branch crashed into her car.

Jacinta Russell-Arnot had been driving with another person earlier in the year in Tasmanian bushland on a relatively clear section of land.

The vehicle was traveling between trees when it hit a pothole and stopped abruptly.

In the video, a tree branch is seen passing through the bottom of the car outside the glove compartment, stopping just inches from Ms Russell-Arnot’s chest.

Although they were both wearing safety helmets, they had not prepared for this specific situation.

‘Some would call me a lucky girl!’ Ms Russell-Arnot wrote on TikTok.

The video, which has had more than 800,000 views, surprised Australians, who could not believe how close the SUV came to death.

How incredibly lucky!! Buy a lottery ticket,” one wrote.

‘Incredibly lucky!!!!! Imagine a few more kilometers of speed,” said one of them.

Another added: “You are a blessed lady.”

But others couldn’t see what all the fuss was about.

“At that speed the only thing it would do is tear the skin a little and leave at most a few bruises, people are exaggerating so much,” wrote one.

“The tree branch was a paid actor,” said another.

One added: “People actually believe this.”

Others commented that the couple needed “skid plates” for their Yamaha off-roader.

While off-roading on rough terrain requires special vehicles, many people also choose to add skid plates, also known as skid plates and skid plates.

The plates are designed to protect occupants from any debris entering your vehicle and can be installed in different areas of the car.

They can cost between $150 and $475, but if off-road enthusiasts see Russell-Arnot’s images, most will probably agree that it’s worth the price.
