A council has vowed to change its signage after residents of a particular street complained they were being charged parking fines “on a daily basis”.

Meha, of Drummoyne, in Sydney’s inner west, was fined $264 despite claiming the “no stopping” sign was not visible from the parking space.

Although there is a sign a few meters from where Meha parked on Formosa Street, it is hidden by a tree and faces in the opposite direction.
