Lily Wright, 28, has spent years living with three face tattoos inspired by Margot’s on-screen portrayal of comic book character Harley Quinn.

Margot put her own spin on the crazed antiheroine with pink and blue dyed hair and face tattoos in what has become an unforgettable costume that has inspired many a Halloween costume.

And Lily, a mother living in Melbourne, even went so far as to get the same tattoos as Margot’s Harley: a black heart, a cross and the word “rotten” tattooed on her cheek.

However, Lily has now revealed that she now “massively regrets” getting the Suicide Squad-inspired tattoos because people judge her for them.

“I now really regret getting my face tattooed. I need to get rid of them,” she said. Yahoo! News While sharing his hopes of successfully eliminating them.

“In 2016 I got into trouble with crime and decided to get a tattoo on my face. I feel like I’ve been judged a lot for it… I feel like tattoos hold me back.”

Lily explained that she has moved away from criminal activity and gone to rehab, and hopes that removing her tattoos will be a step towards finding employment.

Margot won over legions of fans for her portrayal of Harley in three DC Extended Universe films: 2016’s Suicide Squad, 2020’s Birds of Prey, and 2021’s The Suicide Squad.
