Sean 'Diddy' Combs is paranoid someone might poison him and refuses to eat jail food, former inmate says

Sean “Diddy” Combs is paranoid that someone might poison him and refuses to eat jail food, according to a former inmate.

Larry Levine, who has been serving time at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center where Diddy has been housed since his sensational arrest last week, said he has a “source” with inside knowledge of the situation.

“Imagine if someone paid someone on the inside to poison your food, give you a heart attack and die,” Levine told Ashleigh Banfield from NewsNation.

He said Diddy was reportedly refusing to eat due to fear and paranoia that he now had a target on his back.

“If someone were to become a prison officer, this could happen. They don’t make much money and there are people who have something to do with him who do have a lot of money.”

Diddy was arrested and formally charged with years of coercion and abuse as he used blackmail and violence to control his victims.

He has also been accused of inducing female victims and male sex workers to engage in drugged sexual acts, sometimes lasting several days, known as “freak offs.”

“He’s very, very paranoid. He’s very, very afraid. He doesn’t know what to think, he doesn’t know who to trust or what to believe,” Levine said.

Diddy is reportedly staying in the same unit as cryptocurrency scammer Sam Bankman-Fried.

The area reportedly holds between 18 and 20 inmates and is generally reserved for high-profile individuals or those who cooperate with authorities.

Bankman-Fried was convicted of fraud in late 2023 and sentenced to 25 years in prison.

According to Levine, Diddy has had one religious visit and one meeting with a dietician since being taken into custody, as well as multiple daily visits from a mental health doctor.

“He is still on suicide watch. A psychiatrist comes to see him several times a day.”

Levine said it was not unusual for new inmates to protest the food they were offered.

Since Diddy is being held in solitary confinement, Levine said his experience has taught him that means the food he’s receiving is likely cold and unpleasant.

“They feed people who are in the same boat,” he said. “The food is bland, high in carbohydrates. It fills you up, but you get sick from eating it.”

“There’s mold on a lot of that food. Maybe he got sick from that food, that’s another possibility.”

Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges against him last week and was denied bail, despite his legal team’s request that he be released on $50 million and kept under electronic monitoring.

The artist is accused of using “power and prestige” to attract and intimidate women under the “pretext of a romantic relationship.”

Prosecutors said they had interviewed more than 50 victims and witnesses and expect the number to rise.
