Manchester United will look to return to form in the Premier League when they visit Craven Cottage to take on Fulham this Sunday.

Their previous Premier League home game with Brighton saw them fall to a 3–1 defeat, after which manager Ruben Amorim branded his team ‘Perhaps the worst in Manchester United’s history’.

Amorim came out with the alarming comment after United suffered a seventh defeat in 15 games under their new head coach.

The 39-year-old also damaged a television in the dressing room during a post-match tirade at Old Trafford.

So why has their next game been moved to an unusual start time and will still be broadcast on TV?

Here’s everything you need to know about Manchester United’s trip to Fulham, including how to follow the match.

What time is Fulham vs Manchester United?

The Premier League clash between Fulham and Manchester United kicks off at 7pm on Sunday 26 January at Craven Cottage.

It marks their first domestic outing since their home defeat to Brighton last weekend, leaving them sitting in 13th place in the Premier League heading into kick-off.

While United fans will be used to seeing their team kick off at 2pm or 4.30pm on a Sunday, their next trip to South West London will be played at 7pm on Sunday night.

Why Fulham vs Manchester United at 7pm?

The match was originally scheduled to start on the same day, but at the earlier time of 12:30 pm, as it was selected by TNT Sports to be shown live by the provider.

However, the Red Devils playing in such a space would not have allowed them enough time to rest and make up time after their Europa League draw against Rangers.

While an alternative time of 12pm on Sunday was proposed, United Red Devils refused to play earlier in the day, as they wanted as close to 72 hours as would be possible in the circumstances.

Fortunately for them, their wish was granted, and the game subsequently moved back to Sunday night to avoid the clash of TNT Sports’ coverage with Sky Sports’ Sunday games earlier in the day.

Where to look

TNT Sports has exclusive broadcast rights to this game in the UK, with the game to be shown on TNT Sports 1.
