Abdel-Fattah El-Taghouti is a leader in the Tunisian Ennahda Movement and a member of the Shura Council that represents the movement. El Tagouti was born on December 17, 1955 and holds a PhD in Political Science from the Sorbonne University in Paris.

Al-Tagouti fluctuated in several positions within the Ennahda movement, and reached the rank of deputy head of the movement, Rashid Ghannouchi, as he was appointed to this position in 1992, and in 2011 he took over the Ministry of Health in the government of Hammadi al-Jabali, which was formed after the revolution for a temporary transitional period.

Abdel Fattah El Tagouti was elected as a member of the Tunisian parliament for the second constituency of Tunis in the legislative elections that were organized in 2019.
