Shoppers are going crazy over a “revolutionary” new cleaning gadget from Big W.
Karen, from Sydney, revealed her life was transformed after purchasing the Blade Maid Ceiling Fan Cleaner ($39.95).
The tool consists of a long pole attached to microfiber pads that attach to a fan’s blades and clean all four sides at once, all without the need for a ladder or chair to stand on it.
“It was so quick to clean up my fans today,” she said.
“It picked up all the dust and didn’t drop anything on the floor – but I recommend having a towel underneath.”

But not everyone was on board with the new purchase of cleaning supplies.
“Too many gadgets when a bucket and a rag can do it,” one woman said.
“Just take a pillowcase!” You can put the old pillowcase on each blade and wipe the dust in the pillowcase, but you will have to climb a ladder to do this,” one advised.
“Buy blade covers. Best things ever! This saves cleaning: you take them off when they’re dirty, throw them in the wash and put them back again,” one woman shared.
