Under recent rules, receiving multiple yellow cards in the FA Cup results in a competitive ban, while a red card is still just a regular match ban.
For example, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez had to sit out his side’s quarter-final win over Leicester on Sunday after picking up two yellow cards in the competition previously.
As this rule does not apply to red cards, Amad will serve his one-match suspension in United’s next domestic match, regardless of the competition in which the match takes place.

“Everyone came up to me and congratulated me. I want to thank everyone, the fans were superb the whole match.
