Whoopi’s cannabis brand, Emma & Clyde, is planned to sell items such as edibles and pre-rolled joints.

Referring to her marijuana use, Whoopi explained: ‘For people like me, it was always used to stop (menstrual) cramps, and the added benefit of that was that it was fun, it made you laugh and stuff.

“They’re not taboo anymore because we all know that women have periods. We know that. So you can make it difficult, which is what they’ve done in terms of creating something that helps women… But we know that this (cannabis) works,” she said. Forbes in June.
