He and his wife, Tiffany, have been married for over 20 years and had their first child in 2002.

Who is Tiffany Rivers?
Tiffany Rivers, born November 18, 1982, is the wife of former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers.
The couple met in high school in Alabama and began dating, before both also attended the same High School and College – North Carolina State University.
Tiffany owns a swimwear line called Hermoza and previously worked at a daycare.
Both devout Christians, Philip seemed to know that Tiffany was special from the start.

The couple got married in 2001, despite the fact that Philip was only 19 years old and Tiffany was 18.
This was at the end of Philips’ freshman year of college, and three years before he signed with the Chargers.
He has said that he ‘married young but happily’, adding that “it is very important to find the people in your life who bring out the best in you, who continue to shape you and help you to be the person you want to be.”

Philip and Tiffany are expecting their tenth child in October 2023, more than 20 years after the birth of their first, Halle.
Their nine children now are Halle (born 2002), Caroline (born 2005), Grace (born 2006), Gunner (born 2008), Sarah (born 2010), Peter (born 2011), Rebecca (born 2013), Clare (born 2015) and Anna (born 2019).
After a relatively long gap between having Anna and their next child, Philip told her al.com that they are still ‘on’.
With seven girls and just two boys, she revealed that ‘even our girls wanted a boy’, and that’s what the family is hoping for to their delight.
However, he said they had yet to decide on a name for the latest addition to the Rivers clan.
