Ferrari ace Carlos Sainz Jr has endured a rollercoaster start to 2024 as he was replaced by the team and required surgery just before winning the Australian Grand Prix, but his model girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson has been there for him in all the time.
The Spaniard brought teammate Charles Leclerc home to score a double for the Italian team in Melbourne on Sunday.
Remarkably, he did so just two weeks after being forced to miss the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to surgery to remove his appendix, forcing him to take drastic measures to be fit for the race at Albert Park.
Donaldson was first romantically linked to Sainz when they were spotted in Italy in June 2023, with the pair in front of cameras at last year’s Las Vegas GP (pictured).

And if that wasn’t a big enough blow, on February 2 Ferrari had announced that his place would be taken by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton next year.
That ended an up-and-down few months for the 29-year-old, who struggled with an uncompetitive car last season but still managed to become the only driver to beat Max Verstappen in 2023.
And even better, she also began her relationship with Donaldson, and the pair became a couple for the first time last June.
The 28-year-old Scottish model may not have made the trip to Australia to see him win, but she has been seen at races with her boyfriend, including last year’s Las Vegas GP, where she came incredibly close to winning.
Donaldson has appeared on the covers of high-profile fashion magazines such as Vogue and Marie Claire since winning a beauty pageant at age 17, when she was a student at the prestigious Perth Academy and dreamed of breaking into the fashion industry.
In addition to modeling on catwalks such as Madrid Fashion Week, Donaldson founded her own sportswear brand.
She casually dated Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick in 2022.
“My mom came in and I was really surprised when I found out,” he said at the time.
“I’m really excited to have won and I’m really looking forward to taking part in the Top Model UK competition.”
Donaldson was first linked to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick when the couple attended the premiere of a new series of the show in 2022.
They dated for two months before breaking up in June of that year.
She founded sports fashion brand Muse in 2020 during the pandemic, explaining, “I knew I wanted to create something that I would not only wear and be proud to put my name to, but also something that was missing in the market.”

Donaldson and Sainz were first seen together in Milan in June last year, then fans began to think they were a couple when they appeared on a golf course in Amsterdam at the end of August.
One of Sainz’s sisters began following her on Instagram, fueling speculation about a romance, before Donaldson took to the runway at Madrid Fashion Week last month in front of members of the host’s family.
While the couple hasn’t posted any photos of them together on their social media, they do comment on each other’s posts regularly.
After missing the Melbourne race, Donaldson’s next opportunity to support his man as he fights for another victory (and a new contract for 2025) will come at the Japanese Grand Prix on April 7.
