Adrian ‘Mr. Lambo’ Portelli shocked viewers on Sunday night when he purchased all five Phillip Island properties on The Block for a staggering $15.03 million.

The huge spending spree broke series records, marking the first time a single buyer successfully bid on all the properties at auction.

The 35-year-old businessman had previously posted on social media that he was “going out strong” and surprised the cast when he snapped up all of their homes.

Portelli has gained a reputation for his love of buying luxury properties during the show’s auctions, after making a fortune through his LMCT+ gifting business.

Combined with his property investment, the Melbourne businessman now has an estimated net worth of a whopping $1.03 billion.

Despite his bold taste, Portelli came from humble beginnings, dropping out of college to work in his father’s truck repair business before moving to Los Angeles to launch a celebrity limousine service.

While struggling to pay his rent, Portelli found a roommate who helped him develop several successful apps, which he then sold for huge profits.

Portelli has recently become best known for his luxurious sports car collection, along with his multi-million dollar estates and other very rare items.

The successful businessman, who hails from Melbourne’s western suburbs, has luxury homes across Australia and last year added a stunning Melbourne penthouse to his property portfolio.

The March 2023 sale broke a record for the most expensive apartment in the city after Adrian paid a whopping $39 million for the apartment.

He reportedly spent another $6 million modifying and customizing the 12,000-square-foot sky house, including crane-wielding his $3 million McLaren Senna GTR as a “piece of art.”

Earlier this year, Adrian jumped to number 115 on Australia’s 250 richest list.

“I was always humble because it was not easy to get where I got,” Portelli told the AFR when he was included in the Young Rich List.

‘Every day I woke up thinking about being successful. I was just consumed by it. It was a bit lonely and I used to motivate myself and keep pushing myself.’

Portelli has made much of his fortune through promotions company LMCT+, a private lottery company that uses a loophole to offer prizes including houses, cars and cash.

He is widely known for his aggressive bidding on The Block, where he searches for renovated homes on the Nine Network reality show to give away to LMCT+’s 100,000 monthly subscribers.

Portelli caught the public’s attention in 2022 when he roared into The Block auction day with a bright yellow Lamborghini.
