In the first season, Armond (Murray Bartlett) was accidentally killed by Shane Patton (Jake Lacy) in the finale when he ran into a knife Shane was holding.
The second season brought back Jennifer Coolidge as the wealthy and eccentric Tanya McQuoid, who realized in the finale that her husband Greg (Jon Gries) may have hired hitmen to kill her and acquire her vast fortune.
Although she eventually managed to overpower the hitmen and kill them, Tanya later slipped and hit her head on the boat in a freak accident that killed her.
Fan favourite Jennifer previously revealed that she would like her on-screen husband Greg to return for season three to meet his endgame.
“My hope for Jon is that he’s not done with Greg,” she said in Variety’s Actors on Actors interviews. “I hope there’s some punishment for evil Greg. I think he should, I don’t know, end up in a meat grinder.”
Among the other shows featured in HBO’s new trailer on Sunday was fan favorite The Last of Us, which is returning for a second season.
