The Legend of Zelda amiibo are some of the hardest to find. But it’s possible Nintendo will restock several Zelda-themed figures before launch on May 12 The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch. As spotted through Amiibo News, chain stores such as Best Buy have started adding placeholders for certain amiibo figures.
As in Breath of the Wildamiibo play a role in the upcoming Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo has confirmed that tapping a Zelda-themed amiibo on your Switch will change the look of Link’s paraglider, with a different design depending on the figure. The game’s site confirms that you can also receive other in-game items.
Nintendo has not confirmed whether each Zelda amiibo (there are a lot of them) grants a cosmetic upgrade to the glider, or if only certain ones can. So for now, we’re focused on helping you buy the ones that Nintendo has promised they can deliver specially Tears of the Kingdom integration. We’ll be adding links to retailers that have stock available, with more expensive alternatives in case you’re willing to pay any price to get your hands on them.

Best Buy currently lists this amiibo as “coming soon”, with a release date of May 12 – the same day Tears of the Kingdom will be released in the United States. It is currently not available for pre-order. It’s available for three times the usual price at Amazon, though, in case you don’t want to wait.

This figure is listed as “coming soon,” also with a May 12 release date at Best Buy. It costs $15.99, and while it’s not yet available for pre-order at Best Buy, you can pre-order it at GameStop and with Goal.

This amiibo is out of stock at major US retailers, at least not at its usual retail price. However, Amazon has it in stock for about $36.
