Wheel of Fortune fans lost it when a contestant on Tuesday's episode made a rather unfortunate blunder, just a month after another viral mistake

Wheel of Fortune fans lost it when a contestant on Tuesday’s episode made a rather unfortunate blunder, just a month after another viral mistake.

Phil McManus of Palmer, Massachusetts was paid up to $9,800 for a three-word puzzle with the same letter, with the first two words filled in: chocolates and chestnuts.

After buying the last vowel – I – the third word was reduced to CHI_NE_S, when he decided to solve: “Chocolate Chestnuts and Chickens,” said Phil, which was incorrect.

The next participant – Matt Komma from Riverton, Utah, solved it immediately, with the correct answer: “Chocolate chestnuts and chimneys.”

Wheel fans were quick to respond on social media calling Phil out for the mistake, including @WheelRob10.

@WheelRob10 shared a screenshot of Phil’s mistake, adding: ‘That was my shopping list last weekend. #RadofFortuin.’

@CouplaColdies shared a video of the missolve, adding: ‘Christmas themed episode of Wheel of Fortune! And this was the contestant’s guess.”

“I love Wheel of Fortune but where do these contestants come from #chickens #wheeloffortune,” the fan added.

Another fan, @dfwheat, brought up last month’s viral missolve, tweeting: ‘Treat yourself to a round of sausage! And chickens! #radvanfortune’

Last month’s error came from Will Jordan of Wethersfield, Connecticut, who guessed, “Treat yourself to a round of sausages,” with the correct response: “Give yourself a round of applause.”

@itsallrealitv got a little political and tweeted: ‘#wheeloffortune The answer was chickens. No wonder Trump got elected.”

Before the game started, Phil revealed to the crowd that he was:sentenced to death two years ago,” adding that he was told “you’re as good as done.”

He made a bucket list of three items: reuniting with rock band Blink-182, attending WrestleMania and going to Disneyland.

“I’d never been to Disneyland before, and I went for the first time last night, and I’m actually in remission now,” Phil said as the audience applauded.

Phil also said he has “at least 45 tattoos in total,” and several of them are Disney-themed, including Madame Leota from Haunted Mansion on my hand.’

‘I have my little hidden Mickey here. I have Gaston on my chest. They’re everywhere, man,” Phil said.
