The Oz Lotto Jackpot has been won, with one lucky Australian taking home a whopping $30 million in prize money.

The big winner took this week’s massive prize with the winning numbers 27, 42, 31, 38, 37, 3, 39 and the additional numbers 17 and 10.

It is the third time a jackpot of this amount has been up for grabs for Oz Lotto players this year.

However, last week the prize pool was set at $20 million, while no one picked the correct numbers, the jackpot rose to $30 million for this week’s numbers.

In November 2020, there was also $30 million up for grabs, with four winners splitting the money equally.

Two of the winners, one from NSW and another from Victoria, spoke to lottery anonymously.

One of the men, a retiree from Wollongong, south of Sydney, planned to buy a caravan to hide his $7.5 million profit.

‘That is amazing. You always think ‘I would love to win the lottery’ and now I have, and it’s a great feeling,” he told The Lott.

He said he had won small prizes over the years and was happy to share the “incredible” big wins with three others.

The big winner commented that he was in disbelief when he checked his ticket and found that he had won a lot, saying that he was lucky to sit down or to have fallen.

“I couldn’t believe it,” he said.

“The biggest and most beautiful thing is that I can help my children.”

The other winner, a man from Melbourne, said he would still come to work the next day and use the profits to buy a house and share his prize with his large family.

‘I was very happy. I yelled it out to my wife and showed it to her,” he told The Lott.

‘She burst into tears. She can’t believe it. She keeps saying how unbelievable it is.’

Just last week, two men from western Sydney also became millionaires after taking home the first division in Saturday’s Lotto draw over the weekend.

In the 4,191 draw, six first division winners took home a prize of $1,048,320.62 after the Lotto draw on Saturday, September 18.

This year, more than $167 million was claimed from 12 winning entries in the first division.

Of those 12 winners, four were from NSW, four from Victoria, three from WA and one from NT.

One of the winners said he would use his share of the jackpot to buy a caravan and go on the trip of a lifetime, while another said he would buy a house and spend it with his family.
