A traveler has revealed the one thing everyone should Google on vacation for a fun, one-of-a-kind experience.
Anna Paul recommends searching for the exact phrase “unique things to book” in the city you’re in to find unusual and little-known activities you wouldn’t typically see on travel websites.
“When you go to a city you might think, ‘Oh, I’ll see the landmarks, it’ll be amazing’, you never think that the little activities you book end up being the highlight of your trip,” the 24- said a year.
Anna was in Paris with her boyfriend, Glen, where they used the hack to find a bakery that teaches customers how to make their own croissants and baguettes as well as a perfume-making class.
She also recommended walking “everywhere” instead of taking cabs while exploring a new city to discover other hidden gems.

‘I’m a travel genius, steal this idea. When you go to a new city, search for ‘unique things to book’ then type in the name of the city and just book a bunch of stuff,” Anna said in a TikTok clip.
“At the moment, we are in Paris in a very small bakery in the basement which makes baguettes from scratch.”
She said the activities have become the highlights of her trips and she prefers them to the typical tourist traps.
‘You don’t think of the Eiffel Tower, you think, ‘Do you remember when we made this baguette? Why was it the best baguette I’ve ever eaten in my life? That’s what makes traveling so fun.
Anna said she learned a lot of cool new things from her unique activities, including that croissants are made with half butter and half dough.

“The good thing is that these little activities can sometimes navigate or inspire the rest of your day,” she added.
Anna and Glen’s baguette baking gave them the idea to have a picnic. So they visited a cheese shop, butcher and grocery store, then wandered the streets to find the perfect park.
‘This is another piece of advice, when you go to a new city, walk everywhere. Don’t Uber, walk. Trust me, you will explore the city in such a different way,” she said.
“We ended up walking for two hours, but that’s a good thing because we saw tiny bookstores and little chocolate shops that you never thought you’d see.”
After their picnic, Anna and Glen went to a perfume-making class where they created their own personalized perfumes.
