What to expect at Taylor Swift's Sydney Era tour concerts... as pop stars land in the city ahead of sold-out stadium shows

Taylor Swift touched down in Sydney on Monday ahead of her shows in the port city.

The pop megastar, 34, will play four sold-out shows at Accor Stadium over the weekend, attracting up to 80,000 people a night.

She revealed on stage in Melbourne on Sunday that she won’t be performing the same acoustic ‘Surprise Song’ more than once on her Eras Tour.

Swift performed a medley of Getaway Car, August and The Other Side of the Door on Saturday and a medley of Come Back Be Here and Daylight the next night.

Fans in Sydney can expect the pop star to perform a new “surprise song”, with many urging her to return to her original country roots.

“I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set in the future and I don’t want to limit anything or say, ‘If I played this song, I can’t play it again,'” Swift said.

‘So from now on, I don’t want to take any paint colors out of the paint box or any tools out of the tool box.

‘I want to be able to play songs more than once if I feel like it and I want to be able to make changes to songs. Does that sound good?’ she added.

Some of the acoustic surprise songs he previously performed on his latest tour include Daylight, Red and Teardrops on my Guitar.
