Fans of HGTV star Christina Hall were shocked to learn that she and her third husband, Joshua Hall, are divorcing after nearly three years of marriage.
The couple frequently flaunts their romance on social media and recently signed on to star in HGTV’s The Flip Off with her ex Tarek El Moussa.
But their separation may have been a long time coming.
A source told PEOPLE that Josh and Christina “had problems in their marriage for quite some time” before filing for divorce on Tuesday.
This comes exactly four months after Josh stated on Instagram that he and his wife were “still going strong” after tying the knot in October 2021.

TMZ Christina and Joshua reportedly filed for divorce after three years of marriage on Tuesday, July 16, citing irreconcilable differences.
The outlet claimed that the Christina In The Country stars filed their paperwork in Orange County, California, on Tuesday. The former lovebirds said July 8 was their first day apart.
Joshua is asking Christina for alimony and does not want to have to give her any money, the site added.
It was also claimed that Joshua asked the court to “divide what belonged to each of them before they got married.”
The reality TV stars tied the knot in October 2021 and do not have any children together.
This will be the third divorce for Christina, who was previously married to Tarek El Moussa (2009-2018) and Ant Anstead (2018-2021).
Following the news, Christina deleted the couple’s wedding photo from her Instagram.
She shared the stunning image in September 2022 after getting married for the second time in front of family and friends in Maui that month.

It showed Christina and Joshua — who were legally married in October 2021 — hugging and kissing at the altar as the sun set over the ocean behind them.
In the caption, she called Joshua “the man of her dreams” and gushed that their nuptials were “amazing.”
“The man of my dreams on the most beautiful island. Maui holds a special place in my heart. What a wonderful night filled with love,” she wrote.
Now, the link to Christina’s Instagram post shows a blank screen with an automated message from Instagram that says, “Sorry, this page is unavailable. The link you followed may be broken or the page may have been removed.”
As for Joshua, he still has the wedding announcement post up that he shared on September 10, 2022, days after their ceremony in Maui.
Instead of photos of the couple at the altar, Joshua shared a group photo of the bride and groom hanging out with their large wedding party at a resort pool.
She gushed about marrying “the best friend I could ever ask for,” joking in a later post: “I give it six months.”
The shocking divorce news comes after Christina and Joshua signed on to star in HGTV’s 2025 renovation show, The Flip Off, with her ex Tarek and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa.
Christina and Tarek built a home-buying empire during their show Flip Or Flop, which ran for 10 seasons but ended after a highly publicized divorce.

Christina and Joshua seemed to be doing well earlier this summer, as they were seen with their children in Instagram posts.
In March, they were seen hugging and kissing on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
They were also photographed kissing in the ocean.
“Weekend getaways to Cabo with you are my favorite. (I love how it worked out and we exchanged a couple photos on the beach with a professional photographer @allysimonsphoto),” she wrote in her caption while noting that she was staying at the Montage in Santa Maria Bay, Los Cabos San Lucas.

Following the news, Christina deleted the couple’s wedding photo from her Instagram.
