Rachael Taylor has kept a low profile since her troubled relationship with Matthew Newton made headlines in 2010.
But now the actress has re-emerged in the popular American television show Hacks.
The 39-year-old appeared in the third season of the series, playing the role of a stylist.
In the one-minute scene, Rachael helps Jean Smart, who plays Deborah Vance’s character, as she tries to find a cast.
This marks the first time Rachael has appeared on television since she starred in the 2019 series Jessica Jones.

Rachael filed an apprehended violence order against her ex-fiancé Matthew Newton in August 2010.
The couple ended their troubled relationship that same year after two years together.
Their romance ended following “two violent and unprovoked attacks” in Rome after he proposed to her, prompting her to take an AVO.
Now she’s made a rare appearance in the third season of Stan Hacks’ popular show, playing a stylist.
speaking to The Australian Women’s Weekly In 2014, Rachael confessed that she felt “ashamed” and “stupid” after being abused.
‘I was a victim of domestic violence. “I don’t think any woman thinks they will add to these statistics,” she wrote in a first-person essay.
‘At first, my reasons for keeping my experience of domestic violence to myself were very simple. I felt embarrassed. I felt stupid. I felt very sad.’
Rachael did not name Matt in the essay, but their violent relationship has been well documented.
Matthew was previously arrested in 2006 for allegedly physically assaulting actress Brooke Satchwell, whom he began dating in 2001.
He pleaded guilty to common assault after prosecutors dropped three more serious charges, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm and stalking and intimidating Brooke. A court later overturned the conviction.
After Rachael’s ordeal, she dated actor Josh Lawson in 2012.
After splitting from the Mortal Combat star, she began a romance with director and photographer Mike Piscitelli.
Speaking about her new man to Daily Life, Taylor said he is: “Nobody you would know, a normal guy.” I’m not an actor.
In 2019, Rachael sparked speculation that she had “secretly married” Piscitelli.
