A Massachusetts man won a $1 million prize after purchasing a scratch-off ticket with the winnings from a previous game in which he had won $500.
In January, Deivson Alves Martins won $500 for a scratching post he bought at the Family Farms store in Worcester. A month later, he stopped by the same store again.
This time, Martins, who works as a carpenter, bought a $50 scratching post and scored a much bigger prize.
His most recent ticket was a huge $1 million win, which turned into $650,000 before taxes thanks to him opting for a lump sum payment.
